THOUGHTS
Often in our lives we need to RE-SET our PERSPECTIVE. I
find it easy to slide toward thinking of the things of this world. It
isn’t that I’m really down, I’m just NOT UP! There’s a good
children’s song that Bryan Ball sings...
I’M
ALIVE, ALERT, AWAKE, ENTHUSIASTIC!
I feel numbed and fogged a bit because of age problems, I do not need any
further issues!
Rom 8:18-25 For I consider that the sufferings of this present
time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to
us. 19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for
the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected
to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21
that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to
corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22
For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of
childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we
ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan
within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of
our body. 24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is
seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we
hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
John 14:1-3 "Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in
God, believe also in Me. 2 "In My Father’s house are many dwelling
places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a
place for you. 3 "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come
again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
1Cor 2:9 but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE
HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND [which] HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF
MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."
Deut 32:3-4 "For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe
greatness to our God! 4 "The Rock! His work is
perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without
injustice, Righteous and upright is He.
Ps 18:46 The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock; And exalted be
the God of my salvation,
Ps 61:2 From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is
faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
So there! With a little input from God’s Word, I feel a bunch better!
I always feel better after time with God’s Word! Navigating the PRESENT
is always easier when you see the FUTURE.
My Prayer:
Eternal God who does not change, help us to daily find you as our Rock. Give us
stability in our lives because we have found you!. Teach us to have eyes
for eternity and not for this world. May we see the joy of your
salvation, and rejoice continually in your presence. Make these things
real and present in our lives Oh God!
In Jesus name
Amen
